The reggae singer, songwriter and guitarist is internationally known for his distinctive song writing and vocal style.
Starting as part of the Wailers band, Marley later on pursued a solo career which turned him into one of the world’s best-selling artists of all time.
With sales of more than 75 million albums and singles, Marley was a committed Rastafari with a profound sense of spirituality.
He was born in 1945 and died in 1981.
Marley’s drink empire, the Marley Beverage company, and his line of environmental lifestyle and audio products, House of Marley, are estimated to gain Marley the sum of $18 million.
