For the right price, the exclusive doll for charity created by D&G can be yours!

The famous fashion company D&G has created an exclusive doll for a charity that supports the cost and cure for chronic and terminal diseases in kids.

Special made for the Italian Doll Convention’s fundraiser, the doll is a good way to invest your money and make someone else happy while doing it.

The camp offers accommodations to children free-of-charge, but a week costs the charity 2,000 euro per kid due to the staff needed to provide 24-hour care. Funds from this initiative will go toward helping more children attend this summer.

The world is full of dolls one more awesome than the other, even the most expensive Barbie Doll in the world, even the most famous designers have turned their runway outfits into mini outfits for charity dolls.

As you might already know, these dolls are not for little kids anymore; these dolls have garnered the attention of adults as well as of collectors.

So it was D&G’s turn to keep up with the trends and created a one-of-a-kind doll for the Dynamo Camp’s 2016 season. The doll was like a follow up for their mini runway version they organized for UNICEF’s charity.

“For the third year, Dolce & Gabbana and other fashion houses, such as Christian Dior and Chanel, joined UNICEF for the Frimousses de Creatures project to raise funds for the children of the Darfur. Each year the brands work to create a doll that aligns with a specific theme, which is then auctioned off to benefit UNICEF.”

The exclusive doll was created by creative directors Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana and it will be signed by the two of them.

The doll wears a bespoke red lace dress and has a unique hand-printed face. Besides that it features a tiara and large bejeweled earrings.

The ‘miniature woman’ comes cased in a plastic box decorated with Sicilian motifs, with a handles on a top turning it into both a display case and a handbag, making the doll an ideal collector’s item.

You can see that the Angelika doll is not the D&G’s only charity project and they are doing great creating and donating everything they can to whatever charities they can.

The description of the item says: “The Italian Doll Convention is a fashion dolls event which is at its sixth edition and always supported charity Onlus associations, collecting special edition and one o a kind dolls to be auctioned. This activities is completely NO PROFIT and Italian Doll Convention always supported Associations which take care of children.
