The most expensive Chopard watch is the 201-Carat Watch, a one-off high-jewellery piece reported at about $25 million, though it has never been sold at a published price. The most expensive Chopard sold at auction is a Happy Diamond watch that made about $1.67 million (CHF 1,685,000) at Christie’s in Geneva in November 2015. Regular catalogue watches top out near $100,000.
We ranked ten Chopard watches and collections by top price, mixing the one sale we could verify with reported estimates and published price ranges from brand guides. Chopard does not publish prices for its jewellery watches, so treat the upper entries as estimates, and check an authorised dealer for current retail.

1. Chopard 201-Carat Watch: about $25 million
The 201-Carat Watch carries 874 diamonds in yellow, blue, white and pink, with three heart-shaped stones at the centre that open to reveal the dial. The centre stones are a pink diamond of 15.37 carats, a blue of 12.79 carats and a D-colour diamond of 11.36 carats. Guides list the total weight at about 163 carats, which does not match the name, so the name probably counts the whole piece.
The $25 million figure is an estimate that circulates in guides, not a sale record. We rank it first as the highest-priced Chopard watch reported.
2. Happy Diamond with pink and blue stones: about $1.67 million
A quartz Happy Diamond wristwatch carrying a pink marquise-cut diamond of about 2.62 carats and a blue marquise-cut diamond of about 1.48 carats. It sold at Christie’s in Geneva for CHF 1,685,000, around $1.67 million.
This is the only Chopard in our list with a verified auction price, and we count it as the real record for a sold Chopard.
3. Super Ice Cube: about $1.1 million
Around 66 carats of diamonds carved to resemble ice cubes and set in white gold, with a sapphire crystal. The $1.1 million is a listed price in older guides, and we could not confirm a current one.
4. Secret Watch: about $508,000
A diamond-covered hinged door hides the dial. The case carries about 19 carats of baguette, square and brilliant diamonds. Reportedly only two were made, and the listed price is about $508,000.
5. L.U.C Tourbillon Baguette: about $240,000
A limited edition of 25, with a chronometer-certified tourbillon movement and over 300 baguette diamonds weighing about 27 carats. It is the point where Chopard’s watchmaking and its jewellery meet.
The price comes from older guides.
6. The in-house L.U.C line: up to about $99,900
Launched in 1997, this is Chopard’s in-house movement collection. Listed prices run from about $8,110 to about $99,900, which makes it the best answer for collectors who want mechanical depth over diamonds.
7. Happy Sport: up to about $97,000
Launched in 1993, the Happy Sport has the floating diamonds that made Chopard famous. Listed prices run from about $5,520 to about $97,000, the high end being diamond-set versions.
8. L’Heure du Diamant: up to about $90,800
The oldest collection in the guide, first released in 1969, starts at about $30,800 and tops out near $90,800. The floor is the highest of any Chopard collection, which makes it the most consistently expensive range.
9. Imperiale: up to about $64,800
The Imperiale, launched in 1994, spans about $5,780 to $64,800, and the Happy Diamonds line, in production since 1985, reaches the same ceiling. Diamond-set white gold models sit at the top.
10. Alpine Eagle: up to about $55,900
The 2019 sports-luxury watch starts around $9,810 and reaches $55,900. It is the newest collection in the list and the cheapest at the top end, which is why it closes the ranking.
What changed in 2025 and 2026
Entry-level Chopards remain accessible: the Mille Miglia line is listed from about $5,910 to $11,400, and the Happy Sport and Imperiale quartz models start at roughly $5,500 to $5,800.
We found no new Chopard auction result in 2025 or 2026 high enough to join this list, and the Happy Diamond sale from 2015 remains the verified record for a Chopard. The company remains privately owned by the Scheufele family, who acquired it in 1963, and a brand guide puts annual revenue near $430 million.
What drives these prices
- Diamonds, not movements. The most expensive Chopards are jewellery that tells time, so the stones set the price.
- Edition size matters. Pieces made in twos or in twenty-fives are priced as art.
- One-offs are not sales. The top estimate is a reported figure, not a transaction.
- History helps. Louis-Ulysse Chopard founded the firm in Sonvilier in 1860, and the L.U.C line carries his initials. By 2014 the company reported sales of CHF 800 million, with about 2,000 employees.
- Watchmaking sells too. The L.U.C range shows that a serious mechanical Chopard reaches close to $100,000.
