Victoria’s Secret unveils a $2 Million Fireworks Fantasy Bra
The $2 million Fireworks Fantasy Bra was recently unveiled by Victoria’s Secret and it looks amazing!
Tuesday night took place the 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show at Lexington Avenue Armory in New York City.
The biggest and sexiest runway was an event where all the big celebrities gathered together. As you already know, the show featured Angeles Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Behati Prinsloo, and Candice Swanepoel, along with newcomers Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid.
But we are not here to talk about them; we are here to discuss the presence of Lily Aldridge.
The 29-year-old model, who is married to “Kings of Leon” front man Caleb Followill, wore the $2 million Firework Fantasy Bra.
All eyes were on that bra designed by luxury jeweler Mouawad. This bra, just like the others, has a lot of precious stones.
It consists of 6,808 gems, diamonds, blue topaz, yellow sapphires and pink quartz.
As if that’s not impressive enough, the pieces are set in 18-karat gold. Overall, the bra has 685 hours of labor invested in it.
But without Aldridge who wore the bra on the runway while The Weeknd performed, all of Mouwad work would have been in vain.
At the 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion show was Aldridge’s first time wearing the Fantasy Bra.
She found out that she would be wearing the bra in July and couldn’t even tell her husband. Instead she had to keep her big news a secret from the 33-year-old rocker until the announcement was made public.
“He was so proud,” she told People magazine of Followill. “He was so excited. He sent me flowers.”
The superb creation also features a detachable diamond belt, which the uber sweet model is seen wearing over the matching Firework Panties.
The total weight of the gem stones is 1,364 carats, with the diamonds alone weighting more than 375 carats.
You might have thought that the blue panties are ordinary panties, but they were adorned with 126 diamonds and 400 other precious gems as well.
The ornamented demi-shaped bra has been inspired by the Victoria’s Secret Very Sexy Flirt bra which will also be available in-stores and online starting with November 11th.
