Where should I start with Skrillex? There is so much to talk about. Let’s start with the basics then. Skrillex, or Sonny John Moore, is a 28-year-old American DJ. Since he started in 2004, he has produced so many award-winning records. Thus, it should come as no surprise that he is earning as much as $20 million per year.
Skrillex has won eight out of ten Grammy award nominations. On his first Grammy debut in 2012, he took home three gramophones. One of them is Best Dance/Electronica Album for his Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites.
His latest project is Jack Ü. It is a duet project with Diplo, another top DJ you will see on this list next. Together, they have won two Grammy awards from Where are Ü Now featuring Justin Bieber.
