11. Presidential election = free national ads
Even though she did not help her father’s victory by voting for him, she supported him throughout his campaign. She either gave speeches or simply accompanied him in her fashionable outfits, shoes, and jewelry… which are from her fashion brand.
From the Most Expensive Ads Spots article, we understand that promoting on national TV, on national event no less, is very expensive. And Ivanka got that for free.
I’m talking about real advertising here, not just subtle endorsement. She openly promotes her products while appearing on TV to “support her father” or be there as the first daughter. For example, after her speech at the Republican National Convention last July, she promoted her look on Twitter (along with a picture of her giving speech and sporting her fashion collection).
Now, it becomes her thing. During an interview on 60 Minutes after the election, Ivanka wore a luxurious $10,800 gold and diamond bracelet. And right after that, promotion followed. Apparently the White House has become a part of the QVC, America.
