That’s why it came as a shock when we found out that Kim Kardashian was the face of Skechers’ calorie-burning Shape-Up sneakers. Plus isn’t a bit weird to put a, let’s say very curvy, woman to show other women how to exercise?
‘The value proposition is that Shape-ups help you burn more calories and exercises your muscles,’ said Skechers Fitness Group president Leonard Armato.
But the fun didn’t last long, because later the company had a lawsuit for false advertising.
