Dove’s campaign “Real Beauty Sketches” was a powerful campaign that touched millions of people all over the world, a campaign designed to boost women’s confidence in themselves!
They hired a FBI-trained sketch artist to draw some random women.
The artist wasn’t allowed to see them. He would draw them first after their own description of how they see themselves and after that, based on the description of a stranger they had met before in the studio.
In the end, the artist put together both of the drawings and the subjects were invited to come see them and make a comparison.
The results were unbelievable and the reactions of the women were priceless and inspirational.
Dove wanted to send a message to all the women out there: that we are more beautiful than we think.
And they did because it became the most viral ad video of all time!
