Shafeena Yusuff Ali, the founder of Bloomsbury’s Cupcakes spent weeks on perfecting the taste of the recipe and decor of the cupcake and carefully choose the expensive ingredients. Her intention of making the Most Expensive Cupcake in the World were very clear from the beginning.

She said: ‘Our aim is to redefine the cupcakes in the Gulf, why can’t a cupcake taste as good as it looks and look as good as it tastes’

On the release she faced some hard critics on twitter saying that her product is “pointless” and “ugly” . She replied by saying that she is really sorry about it and that she really tried to make an honest effort to create something amazing.

Chef Ali aimed to make a cupcake that looked as good as it tasted and tasted as good as it looked and as far as the aspects go I say she did good, cause this cupcake really looks good.
