How much is Gaurav Taneja worth in 2026?
We put him at $8.7 million, in a range of $5 million to $15 million. This one is a rough estimate: nearly all of it is paper value in a young company, and the rest rests on income nobody has confirmed. Rupees convert at 94.7 to the dollar, the rate on November 3, 2026.
Public estimates scatter widely. Some model only YouTube ad views, and few value the one asset with a dated price on it. We count his holdings only, and leave out the income of his wife, also a pilot.
How Gaurav Taneja built it
- Raised money after a TV rejection. Sharks made no offer at Rs 1 crore for 1 percent, then he raised at Rs 3 crore for 1 percent.
- Turned his audience into distribution. He said his reach cut about 90 percent of BeastLife's total marketing spend.
- Kept the biggest stake. A March 2026 cap table shows him as BeastLife's largest holder at 32.8 percent.

| Source | Our estimate | What it rests on |
|---|---|---|
| 32.8 percent of BeastLife | $11.1 million | A cap table dated March 27, 2026, shows him at 32.8 percent. The March 2026 round valued the company at Rs 320 crore after the money. That makes Rs 105 crore. |
| Discount on the stake | minus $3.3 million | Our assumption: 30 percent. It’s a minority holding in a private company with no market for the shares, and the cap table may predate the round. |
| Creator income, 2018 to 2026 | $3.4 million | Our assumption: Rs 4 crore a year for eight years, Rs 32 crore. A 2022 profile put his three channels at about Rs 45 lakh and brand deals at Rs 3 to 4 lakh a month. The channel figure had no stated period, and we read it as monthly. |
| Team and production costs | minus $840,000 | Our assumption: 25 percent of creator income, Rs 8 crore. |
| Tax | minus $760,000 | Our assumption: 30 percent of the remaining Rs 24 crore, or Rs 7.2 crore. |
| Living costs, homes and cars | minus $840,000 | Our assumption: Rs 1 crore a year for eight years. A BMW X4 at an estimated Rs 62.4 lakh arrived in 2021. We opened no property record. |
| Total | $8.7 million | Before rounding, the rows sum to about $8.7 million. BeastLife is 89 percent of it after the discount, by our math. |
The Shark Tank rejection that paid
In January 2025, he asked Shark Tank India for Rs 1 crore in exchange for 1 percent and left without a deal, since the Sharks made no offer. A September 2026 report says he raised Rs 3 crore per 1 percent about four months after the show, and he said keeping the Rs 100 crore valuation would have cost the company more equity. By March 2026, 1 percent was priced at Rs 3.2 crore.
Here is our calculation. Holding his stake at 32.8 percent, which is our assumption, the Shark Tank price made it worth Rs 32.8 crore. The March 2026 price makes it about Rs 105 crore. That’s a paper gain of about Rs 72 crore, or $7.6 million, in 14 months. Getting no offer at the TV price turned out to be the better result, on paper.
Revenue nearly tripled in a year
BeastLife, co-founded with former Mamaearth executive Raj Vikram Gupta, booked Rs 37 crore of revenue in FY25 with a net loss of Rs 55.4 lakh. A June 2026 report put FY26 turnover at Rs 105 crore, with a target of Rs 250 crore for FY27 through offline retail, Beast Cafes and vending machines. He said on the show that the company was EBITDA positive, and a March 2026 report called it net profitable, though we could not open audited FY26 accounts.
Investors paid about three times FY26 revenue in that round: Rs 320 crore against Rs 105 crore. The price has moved fast. In April 2025 cricketer Rinku Singh invested Rs 1.9 crore at a Rs 120 crore valuation, so Singh’s stake would be priced at about Rs 5.1 crore a year later, before any dilution.
The channel still pays the marketing bill
An IIT Kharagpur civil engineer who became a pilot, he built Flying Beast into 9.2 million subscribers and 5.34 billion views as of November 2, 2026, with 13.46 million views in the past 28 days. The audience does more for BeastLife than ads do for him. On Shark Tank he said the distribution cuts about 90 percent of total marketing spend, and his partner said the whey brand made about Rs 1 crore in sales within an hour. Both are the company’s own claims.
The next priced round is what to watch. A Series A at double the March valuation would add about $11.1 million before our discount. A miss on the Rs 250 crore target could do the reverse, and the stake would shrink further if he sells or the company raises more without him.
