How Quackity built it
- Built a multilingual Minecraft server. He created QSMP in March 2023, with automated live translation between languages.
- Tied the server to his own funds. He said QSMP could not continue if his funds could not cover its workers.
- Moved toward bigger live events. One report named him a commentator for La Velada del Año 6, held in Seville in July 2026.

We put Quackity at about $3 million, in a range of $1.5 million to $6 million. This one is a rough estimate: little of the money is documented. The leak gives us 26 months of Twitch pay, while everything after October 2021 and all sponsor money is our assumption, based on audience size and on that leak.
Public estimates disagree because many multiply views by an ad rate and stop there, leaving out tax and the cost of running a server with staff. Some also add follower counts across platforms into totals that don’t match the platform pages.
How we got to $3 million
The first row is reported. The other six are assumptions, and most of the page’s uncertainty lives in the sponsor row.
| Source | Our estimate | What it rests on |
|---|---|---|
| Twitch payouts, August 2019 to October 2021 | $1.07 million | The leaked payout, before tax. It was never confirmed by Twitch as accurate. |
| Twitch payouts, November 2021 to October 2026 | $2.46 million | Assumption: the leaked rate of about $40,968 a month continues for 60 months. |
| YouTube ad money | $1.05 million | 525.61 million views on his main channel, at an assumed $2 per 1,000 views. |
| Sponsors and paid appearances | $2.5 million | Assumption of $500,000 a year for five years. No deal value is public. |
| Income tax | minus $2.48 million | Assumption of 35 percent on the $7.08 million above. |
| QSMP and studio costs | minus $1 million | Assumption of about $25,000 a month over 40 months. He said in 2024 that QSMP could not continue if his funds could not pay its workers, and no budget is public. |
| Living costs | minus $0.6 million | Assumption of $100,000 a year for six years. |
| Total | about $3 million | The rows sum to $3 million. |
The arithmetic behind $41,000 a month
Our calculation: $1,065,157 over 26 months is about $40,968 a month. Tubefilter noted those records presumably cover ad revenue, subscriptions and donations, so sponsors sit on top. That is also a fair reason to doubt any neat total, because Twitch has not confirmed the numbers.
The leaked payout is 15 percent of our $7.08 million gross ($1.07 million divided by $7.08 million). So 85 percent of the gross rests on our assumptions, and you should read the headline with that in mind.
YouTube looks smaller than the subscriber count implies. His main channel has 6.18 million subscribers and 525.61 million views as of June 14, 2026, or about 85 lifetime views per subscriber. Across a channel that started in 2013, that’s a thin line for ad money, and it fits his own 2025 video titled Why I Quit YouTube 3 Years Ago.
A server that sells almost nothing
He launched QSMP on March 22, 2023, as a private Minecraft server with automated live translation between languages. As a business it is strange. Passionfruit reported in 2024 that the server had no Patreon and that its merchandise was a single globe collectible. Creators on it earn from their own YouTube views, Twitch subs and donations, so much of the audience money flows to the cast and not to the owner.
He also said that everyone involved in Quackity Studios would be paid, and that QSMP could not continue if his funds didn’t cover its workers. We read that as an expense line, which is why it gets a row of its own. Passionfruit also cited a jump from one million monthly Twitch viewers in January 2020 to 14 million by February 2021, the stretch when the leaked payouts were building.
What comes next
Dababel, a multilingual tool he announced in 2025, could be the first thing he owns that isn’t a live show, though we found no revenue or funding for it. In 2026, one report said Ibai Llanos named him a commentator for La Velada del Año 6, on July 25 at La Cartuja stadium in Seville, and his pay for that wasn’t given. A paid Dababel round or a QSMP sponsor would move this figure quickly.
