How much is Yuvraj Singh worth in 2026?

We estimate $13 million, which sits well below most figures you will see. His IPL pay is on the record. His endorsement income rests on one line from marketers, and his India pay and startup returns are our assumptions, so the range is wide. One crore is 10 million rupees. We convert at Rs 95 to the dollar, rounding the 94.93 rate of 3 November 2026.

How Yuvraj Singh built it

  • Sold high at auction. Rs 30 crore from the 2014 and 2015 auctions was 35 percent of his IPL pay.
  • Backed startups after cricket peaked. He launched YouWeCan Ventures in 2015, and CB Insights lists 19 investments.
  • Put big money into property. His Worli duplex in Mumbai is reported at Rs 64 crore, about 16,000 square feet.

How we got to $13 million

Source Our estimate What it rests on
Endorsements $9.85 million Business Today reported that marketers put him at nearly Rs 1 crore a month. We assume Rs 12 crore a year for 15 years, Rs 180 crore, less 20 percent for agents and 35 percent tax on the rest, leaving Rs 93.6 crore. That is generous: he has been retired since 2019.
IPL contracts $5.79 million A season-by-season table sums to Rs 84.59 crore. We take off an assumed 35 percent tax, leaving Rs 55 crore.
India pay $1.79 million Our assumption: Rs 5 lakh a match across 402 internationals plus Rs 50 lakh a year in retainers for 12 years is Rs 26.1 crore, less 35 percent tax.
Startup stakes $1.00 million CB Insights lists 19 investments. At the top cheque of Rs 25 lakh he announced in 2015 that is Rs 4.75 crore. We assume they are worth three times that, Rs 14.25 crore. The cost came out of the earnings above, so we add only the Rs 9.5 crore gain. Cost and return are both assumptions.
Gain on the Worli home $1.68 million The price of the Mumbai duplex is reported as Rs 64 crore, and CricTracker dates the purchase to 2013. The cost came out of the earnings above, so we add only an assumed 25 percent gain, Rs 16 crore.
Spending, homes, cars and charity Minus $6.97 million Our assumption of 40 percent of the Rs 165.6 crore in earnings above, or Rs 66.2 crore. It includes a reported Rs 15 crore car collection, homes in Chandigarh and Goa, and family costs.
Total $13 million The rows add to Rs 124.8 crore, or $13.1 million, rounded. Mostly assumptions apart from the IPL table.

Two auctions, 35 percent of the IPL money

The contract history reads like a share chart. Rs 4.25 crore a year at Punjab from 2008. Rs 8.28 crore a year at Pune. Then Rs 14 crore from Bangalore in 2014 and Rs 16 crore from Delhi in 2015. After that came Rs 7 crore, Rs 7 crore, Rs 2 crore and finally Rs 1 crore at Mumbai in 2019, the year he retired.

We work out that 2014 and 2015 are 2 of 12 seasons, yet Rs 30 crore of Rs 84.59 crore, or 35 percent. He said in 2019 that the years of big money brought more pressure. They paid for a lot, too: that Worli duplex, at the reported Rs 64 crore, equals 76 percent of his whole IPL career before a rupee of tax. It’s why we treat the home as bought from earnings and not as a separate pile of wealth.

The startup fund that stayed small

In April 2015 he launched YouWeCan Ventures, with a plan to put over Rs 50 crore into startups over three to five years. The deals that followed were real: CB Insights counts 19, with Wellversed in October 2020 the latest it shows. But the arithmetic doesn’t reach the plan. At the Rs 10 lakh to Rs 25 lakh per deal the firm described at launch, 19 deals use at most Rs 4.75 crore, under a tenth of Rs 50 crore. Follow-on money could close part of that gap, and no one has published what he actually put in or got back.

The ledger values these stakes at a modest Rs 14.25 crore, a Rs 9.5 crore gain, until an exit shows otherwise. The YouWeCan name also covers his cancer charity, which we treat as a cost.

Why other estimates disagree

Public estimates of about Rs 290 crore add career income and home values together, with little taken off for tax or spending. Currency hides some of the gap as well. We calculate that Rs 291 crore, shown as $35 million at the rate used in December 2025 reports, is $30.6 million at Rs 95 to the dollar. So the rupee alone removed over $4 million from that number without anything else changing.

What would move the number

The latest documented money event we could find is the December 2025 report on his endorsement income, and we found no new deal in 2026. A startup exit would lift the figure, and so would a true market price for Worli. If the Rs 1 crore a month is lower than reported, the figure falls, since endorsements are the largest row.
