The sheer, revealing dresses are huge fashion statements made by women who are happy to share their bodies with the whole world!

They are not just showing legs, or cleavage, they are showing (almost) everything and don’t really care about the critics.

Let’s cut to the chase and see the red carpet evolution of the naked dress, shall we?

1.Marilyn Monroe at the White House in 1962

The first one who launched the trend of the naked dress is no other than the blonde bombshell Marilyn Monroe.

The American actress, singer and model was a world-wide sex symbol, known for her sexy curves and for wearing dresses that make you wonder if you shouldn’t see what you’re seeing.

Monroe, whose breakthrough took place in the 1950’s, was known to be in love with president Kennedy.

She surprised everyone when on several occasions she wore the naked dress. Her most notable dresses were in Some Like It Hot and when she visited the White House and sang Happy Birthday to President Kennedy in 1962.

Marilyn Monroe is one of the deceased celebrities who still earns money. To see who the others are, check out our article!
