He started out as a regular person. Actually, his first job was at Unilever, where he worked marketing detergents, then toothpaste for German cosmetics company Blendax.
His job included lots of traveling, so when on the road, he discovered Krating Daeng, the drink that inspired him to create Red Bull.
And he did so with the help of his Thai partners Chaleo and Chalerm Yoovidhya and launched it in Austria in 1987.
