Carol Alt was discovered while she was waitressing at a local stake house by a photographer.
Although she had great success and by 1980 she appeared on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar she didn’t embody the diva attitude.
She claims that she never considered herself the most beautiful and sexiest woman as most of the magazines deemed her to be. Instead, she owes her success to hard work and creativity.
Although she had a great success as an actress, Alt switched the modeling business for an acting career. She appeared in numerous Italian movies and TV shows.
But that’s not the end of it! In 2004 she published her first book Eating in the Raw:A Beginner’s Guide to Getting Slimmer, Feeling Healthier, and Looking Younger the Raw-Food Way.
Yep, she underwent another career change becoming a raw foods specialist and author!
