9. Bugatti Type 49
The Bugatti Type 49 was built between 1930 and 1934, and in only 470 units.
But this model quickly earned a reputation as reliable touring car famed for its engine flexibility, supple ride, satisfying performance and rugged build quality.
The Bugatti Type 49 was similar to the earlier Type 44, and was the last of the early 8-cylinder Bugatti line which began with the Type 30.
Weighting approximately 1200 kilograms and equipped with an 8-cylinder in-line engine with 3 valve/cylinder and overhead camshaft, this beauty had an output of 85 hp.
