4. Bugatti Type 57S Atalante number 57502
Built in 1937 by the French manufacturer, the Type 57S Atalante number 57502 is a rare French sports coupe.
The car with chassis number 57502, was discovered, or better yet rediscovered in 2008, in a private owner’s garage in Gosforth, Newcastle, where it was stored for 48 years.
Originally owned by the 5th Earl Howe in 1937 for eight years, the car was passed to three intermediate owners before being bought in 1955 by Harold Carr.
And after he drove it for a few years, the Bugatti Type 57S Atalante number 57502 was locked in his garage, where it was discovered by his family, after his death.
