8. Maybach SW38
The SW38 model was an upgraded version of the SW35 model .
The car was launched in 1936 and as the Sw42 model, it suffered an engine upgrade, being increased to 3.8-liters.
This was the final model to be released before the war, and was available in three versions.
The Maybach Sw38 stunned the world, being capable of reaching speeds of more than 120 mph, a speed considered ‘blinding’ during the era.
A total of 520 models were built between 1936 and 1939 and only around 152 of these Maybachs are known to exist today.
