If you would have seen Tyler Perry 20 years ago, you would have never imagined that at some point, he will be worth $350 million.
With a troubled life, Tyler was close to committing suicide, him saying that his father’s
answer to everything was to beat it out of you.
The successful film director didn’t have a pretty life, him living in his car after the play he wrote was not successful at all. Back in the days, Perry was an unknown playwright in Atlanta, so he was renting a theatre and staging his own play. The financial flop left Perry forced to live on the streets, staying in his car for a while.
Those dark times are long gone, in 2011 Forbes declaring him the highest paid man in entertainment, Perry having won the fabulous sum of $130 million in just one year.
