The movie was made after the book with the same name and after a 30 million dollar budget it grossed 95 million worldwide.
So if it grossed more than the cost of making it and also brought Cameron Diaz an award the movie must have been a great success, that’s why the public reviews posted on IMDB rated the movie with a score of 7.4.
Not making a full movie depiction after the book, this film tells the story of young Anna who was conceived in-vitro to be a donor for her older sister who has different medical problems.
Sara played by Cameron Diaz is the mother of the two girls who desperately wants to save the life of her older one struggling with the refuse of the younger Anna who hired a lawyer to represent her.
With a drama that makes you think about the fact that sometimes you are luckier than others, Cameron Diaz has a hard role, a mother who is forced to do wrong in order to save another life.
So for another beautiful representation in a genre that Diaz isn’t so familiar, we hope that you will enjoy watching My Sister’s Keeper.
