Save the last dance offers the public a love story like no other.
In a world where dancing means everything to her, Sara has to deal with her mother’s death and her moving to a new school to stay with her father.
After failing her first admission to dance school and the fact that her mother died arriving there, she felt so guilty that all the dancing ambitions were lost.
The film starts with a very sad story of a girl with great ambitions but whose faith made her go on a different path.
Starting with classical dance moves like ballet, the movie strikes you back as the second character enters the plot, Derek, who is set to help Sara pursue her dreams.
If at first he is helping her with some moves, they fall in love and the next step is to make her understand that hip hop can change her ballet moves and make her win a scholarship at Juilliard.
