Black Swan
Natalie Portman rocked this movie and won the Best Actress award for the film and also several other nominations from where we would like to mention best picture and best director.
We are talking about Black Swan, of course, a movie quite unique and breathtaking at the same time.
From the start the description, a psychological thriller/horror film, makes us a little bit enthusiastic and we wait to see how the dancing and the moves mold in this kind of motion picture.
That’s why the picture was nominated for best director because the movie who revolves around a production of Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake ballet mixes both the ballet life and the struggle with reality.
With terrifying scenes, training scenes, magistral performances and unique characters, the movie made a gross of almost 370 million dollars and is one of the best outtakes on the high dancing scene of New York ballerinas.
Both Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman took ballet lessons before the movie and we can also see a large number of ballet stars who give the movie the authenticity it needed.
So on number 3 we see probably one of the best dance movies ever made who revolves around a main dancer and a famous show.
Number 2 made many sequels->
