Next door to Escape, which we already talked about, is Studio 80. This small venue dedicates itself to modern electronic dance music.
Studio 80 has a maximum capacity of 600 people and features 2 areas and, prepare to be amazed, workshops, internships and seminars.
For example, in one of the workshops you can learn the tricks of the trade, or acquire the basic skills to be a DJ.
Located at Rembrandtplein 17, Studio 80 is considered Amsterdam’s ‘the’ place for minimal electronic and techno music.
If you expect to see a posh club with models, VIP tables, champagne and all that kind of luxury, you’ll be disappointed. At Studio 80 it’s all about the music.
