Marilyn Monroe, born Norma Jean Mortenson, was an actress, model, singer and the quintessential American sex symbol!
She led many famous roles after signing a film contract with Twentieth Century-Fox in 1946.
In 2009, long after her death, TV Guide Network named her No. 1 in Film’s Sexiest Women of All Time!
Her final years weren’t so brightful though. She was marked by illness, suffered from depression and had a serious problem with taking medications which eventually killed her – an overdose of barbiturates.
Marilyn’s end is until this day one of the most controversial deaths.
Many speculations have been made – suicide because of the depression, a crime due to the affair with the two members of the Kennedy family and so on.
We may not know many things about her, but one thing we know for sure: she was gorgeous!
