1897 ‘Victorian Girl’ tray – 95.000$
This item is considered by historians and collectors to be the first item made from this material and in this form and shape.
The tray you usually see in restaurants, used for carrying glasses, bottles and/or plates is made from tin and it’s lithographed with the fresh style of that time. We can see that on the tray the Coca-Cola company illustrated a Victorian style woman who has a Coca-Cola glass in her hand and wants to drink it while standing at the table. Stating around her is the Coca-Cola logo and the words “Refreshing!” and “Delicious!“.
For this special piece of art we observe a well preserved set of colors, the details for the face of the girl and everything around her, but also the tarnished gold and the red borders. This 117 years old piece of collectible art can be bought by the enthusiasts for the sum of 95.000$, that if the actual owner wants to sell the oldest tray in Coca-Cola History.
