Most Expensive Skateboard In The World
If you were searching for the priciest skateboard out there, well you’re in the right place.
Because today we’re going to show you the Most Expensive Skateboard In The World, and for what amount of money this could be yours.
A skateboard is normally used in riding and performing tricks, but it was also used for art in nearly every form and fashion over the past 50 years.
And now, Matthew Willet, a New York City based skateboarder and artist took this form of art to another level in creating this high priced golden skateboard.
So let’s have a look at the Most Expensive Skateboard In The World and find out more about it.
The Golden Skateboard, priced at $15,000, is made out of 99.999% gold, and there are just 6 of them out there.
Taking into consideration the price and the materials used to create it, it’s no wonder that it became the Most Expensive Skateboard In The World.
The high priced skateboard was designed for the New York–based skateboard shop SHUT, and Willet states that:
“When you are in the same room as the board, you can’t miss its glowing effect,”
He also stated that in creating the most expensive skateboard in the world, it took him several trial and errors before completing the board and that he chose to keep the process a secret.
The skateboard is 31.5 inches long, 8 inches wide, and, at 9 pounds, weighing 80 percent more than the typical (and a lot more cheaper) skateboard.
“I’ve been skateboarding my whole life, so making this was kind of a no-brainer.”
For handling the Most Expensive Skateboard In The World you will need to wear special gloves if you don’t want to damage the board’s stunning mirror finish.
The high priced $15,000 golden skateboard is fully functional, but I doubt that the person buying it will actually ride it.
So this is the Most Expensive Skateboard In The World, and it’s all made out of gold.
What do you think about it? If you bought this, would you take it out for a ride, or keep it on a shelf as an artwork?
