How much is Alex Becker Worth? Alex Becker Net Worth in 2026
Alex Becker’s net worth is estimated at $27 million as of November 2026. The sale most often used to explain his money, $110 million for his software company Hyros, never closed. SEC filings show it was called off in August 2023 with no termination fee, so the cash he received from that deal was zero, and we value his Hyros stake as something he still has to sell.

How Alex Becker built it
- Sold software before crypto. Source Wave passed $4 million in yearly revenue before its 2019 sale.
- Served before starting up. He spent 2007 to 2011 as a US Air Force aircraft firefighter, then went online.
- Co-founded a community NFT project. Neo Tokyo launched in October 2021 as a free mint open only to whitelisted wallets.

We put Alex Becker at $27 million, and this one is a rough estimate: little of the money is documented. No filing shows his share of Hyros, the price of his earlier software sale or the contents of his crypto wallets. What is on the record is the Hyros deal itself, the dated market prices around Neo Tokyo and his channel’s numbers. Everything else below is labelled as our assumption, with the reasoning next to it.
How we got to $27 million
| Source | Our estimate | What it rests on |
|---|---|---|
| Stake in Hyros | $15.0 million | A December 2022 release filed with the SEC priced all of Hyros at about $110 million, mostly in stock. That deal died, so we cut the price by the same ratio as the buyer’s own valuation in the August 2023 filing: $293.0 million became $100.0 million, which turns $110 million into $37.5 million. Applying that cut to Hyros is our assumption, and so is his 40 percent share, since the split isn’t public. |
| Source Wave years | $4.5 million | IQ.wiki and Bitrue say the SEO software firm passed $4 million in annual revenue before its 2019 sale. The price is undisclosed. We assume one times revenue, less 30 percent tax: $2.8 million. We add eight years of profit on $2 million average revenue at a 30 percent margin ($4.8 million), less 30 percent tax, half of it kept: $1.7 million. All assumptions. |
| Crypto gains on that money | $4.5 million | Our assumption: the $4.5 million above doubled between 2019 and 2026, given how long he has traded crypto in public. No wallet of his is documented. This is the softest row on the page. |
| Neo Tokyo holdings | $2.4 million | CoinGecko data cited by Zipmex on 25 October 2026 puts the 2,036 Identities NFTs at about $47.5 million. We assume he holds 5 percent of that as a co-founder. His real holding isn’t public. |
| Hyros pay since 2019 | $0.8 million | Our assumption: $300,000 a year for seven years is $2.1 million, of which he keeps 40 percent after tax and spending. |
| YouTube ad money | $0.1 million | vidIQ shows 63.46 million lifetime views and a modelled $240 of ad revenue on 74,635 views in October 2026, or about $3.20 per 1,000. That rate over lifetime views is $203,000, and 40 percent kept is about $81,000. |
| Total | $27.3 million | Sum of the rows, rounded to $27 million in our headline. |
His 2016 book and any payouts from Hyros profits aren’t in the table because we found no figures for either. If his stake is 25 percent and the crypto never doubled, the total falls to about $17 million. If Hyros is still worth the full $110 million at a 40 percent stake, it rises to about $56 million. That is our range.
The $110 million that never arrived
On 8 December 2022, marketing software company Banzai agreed to buy Hyros for about $110 million in what its release called “a primarily stock transaction”, as part of Banzai’s plan to go public through a blank-check company called 7GC. The press wrote it up as an exit, and plenty of biographies still do.
A Form 8-K filed by 7GC tells the rest: “On August 1, 2023, Banzai and Hyros agreed to terminate the Hyros Purchase Agreement,” with no termination fee paid or payable. A later Banzai filing gives the reason as the inability to procure Hyros audited financial statements on the agreed timeline. Banzai went public without it, completing its merger in December 2023.
Even a closed deal would not have meant $110 million for him. By our calculation, a 40 percent holder would have collected about $44 million (40 percent of $110 million), mostly in stock, before tax. Instead he holds private shares we mark at $15.0 million, which is 55 percent of our total ($15.0 million over $27.3 million). His fortune still rides on a company with no public price.
What crypto did to the Neo Tokyo paper
Becker and Elliot Wainman launched Neo Tokyo in October 2021 as a free, whitelist-only NFT mint. An April 2022 report in Market Realist said its value could be in the billions. The native token, BYTES, tells a harder story: Zipmex, citing CoinGecko, listed about $0.26 on 25 October 2026 against an all-time high of $22.23.
Our math on today’s supply of 2.148 million tokens: the whole token would be worth about $47.8 million at the peak price and about $560,000 at the latest one. Even if he held 5 percent, that is $28,000, which is why BYTES has no row of its own. The Identities carried a 10 ETH floor, about $23,300, on that same date.
A big channel gone quiet
His YouTube channel started on digital marketing and moved to crypto. vidIQ data from 2 November 2026 shows 1.57 million subscribers and only 74,635 views in October, with 10,000 subscribers lost that month. That works out to one view per 21 subscribers. At that rate the ledger can only give ad money $0.1 million, whatever the subscriber count says.
Why other estimates disagree
Public estimates run from under $20 million to over $300 million. Most of the spread comes from treating the $110 million as cash he banked, then adding guesses about crypto. Once the deal comes out, the higher figures have little left to stand on.
What would move the number
A real sale of Hyros would replace our $37.5 million company value with a price, in either direction. So would any disclosure of his share. A crypto rally lifts the two softest rows, and if the Neo Tokyo collection doubled, our figure would gain only $2.4 million. His own wallet records, if he ever published them, could overturn the whole bottom half of the table.
