How much is Nelk Boys worth in 2026?

In 2021, a trade profile found that YouTube was paying the channel about 23 cents a month in ads after capping it in May 2020. That is the strangest fact in this ledger, because the crew’s money had already left YouTube for good. OMR reported that Nelk’s parent company passed $50 million in revenue in 2020, in a year when its ad money had already collapsed.

We put the crew at about $60 million combined, in a range of $35 million to $100 million. The sales figures are real. The profit, the valuation and the crew’s share of Happy Dad are our assumptions. Public estimates differ mostly because they credit one member with an entire brand’s value, or treat Full Send revenue as if it were profit.

How Nelk Boys built it

  • Sold merch to their own fans. Full Send drops sold out within minutes, and the parent passed $50 million in revenue in 2020.
  • Moved past ad money. Ads fell to about 23 cents a month after the 2020 cap, while products kept selling.
  • Launched a seltzer in 2021. Happy Dad launched in June 2021 and reached a little over 3.5 million cases in 2025.

How we got to $60 million

Source Our estimate What it rests on
Stake in Happy Dad $32 million About 3.5 million cases sold in 2025. We assume the company nets $18 a case, about 45 percent of a $40 shelf price for 24 cans, for about $63 million in revenue. At 2 times revenue the brand is worth about $126 million. We credit the crew with 25 percent. Price multiple and share are assumptions: no round’s terms are public.
Full Send merchandise and Send Club $24 million Assumption: $3 million a year kept after tax for eight years, set against the one figure reported, more than $50 million in 2020 revenue. Costs of goods and the share going to chief executive John Shahidi come out first.
YouTube, podcast and sponsors $4 million Assumption: $250,000 a year after tax across 16 years. The ad money was small by the channel’s own numbers.
Total $60 million $32 million plus $24 million plus $4 million

The seltzer outran the channel by a factor of 1,000

Before the cap, ads paid the channel about $5,000 a month, so about $60,000 a year. Now take Happy Dad. Beer Insights reported from a trade summit in January 2026 that the brand did a little over 3.5 million cases in 2025, according to the Shahidi brothers. At our assumed $18 each that is about $63 million in revenue. By our calculation, one year of seltzer outsells a year of peak ad money about 1,050 times over ($63 million divided by $60,000). The crew’s share of the seltzer also makes up 53 percent of our total ($32 million of $60 million), from a product launched in June 2021 that sold out within minutes.

The $18 needs defending. A listing from a California liquor store prices a 12-pack at $19.99, about $1.67 a can, or $40 for 24. Retailers and distributors take their cut before the brand sees anything, so we credit the brand with a little under half.

Whose seltzer is it

The name on the can does not settle this. An Orange Coast profile from June 2025 credits Sam and John Shahidi as founders and counts more than 230 million cans sold since launch. CB Insights lists outside investors including the Family Fund and Blue Equity at the seed stage, and cites a 2026 article naming Forgeard as a co-founder. That is why we credit the crew with a quarter, and why a page that hands the whole brand to the YouTubers is probably too high.

$20 a month and a merch drop

The rest of the business looked more like a clothing label with a very loud marketing department. Full Send drops came regularly and mostly sold out within minutes, per the 2021 profile, and Send Club memberships cost $20 a month, with no member count given. The channel had about 7 million subscribers at that time. We could not open a more recent count we trust, so we do not use one. Steve Deleonardis, who appears in the crew’s videos, runs his own channel and brand, and we do not count his money here.

What would move the figure

A sale of Happy Dad would swap our 2 times revenue for an actual price. Volume is the other lever: the brand’s reported goal is more than 4 million cases in 2026, and at our assumptions each extra 500,000 cases adds $18 million to the brand’s value and $4.5 million to the crew’s share. Merchandise is the opposite risk, because the only revenue figure we could open is six years old.
