How much is Pranjal Kamra worth in 2026?

We put him at $1.6 million, or about ?15 crore, in a range of $0.5 million to $3.5 million. This one is a rough estimate: little of the money is documented, and his stake, his pay and his portfolio are all private. We used ?94.65 to the dollar, the rate X-Rates showed on November 3, 2026.

Public estimates can run well above ours. The one we opened shows no working, and we suspect audience size does the persuading: 6.5 million subscribers sounds like a fortune. Indian ad rates and a small company’s revenue say otherwise.

How Pranjal Kamra built it

  • Learned markets during law school. He began studying stocks in his third year of law school and is an alumnus of securities institute NISM.
  • Turned a channel into a company. He started the finance channel in 2017 and co-founded Finology Ventures in 2018.
  • Invested in a startup as an angel. A startup directory lists his angel investment in Wint Wealth on January 26, 2022.

How we got to $1.6 million

Source Our estimate What it rests on
Finology stake $900,000 ?4.69 crore of reported 2024 revenue at an assumed 3 times is ?14.07 crore, or $1.49 million. We assume he holds 60 percent, since a biography page also names a co-founder. Neither the stake nor a valuation is public.
Pay and sponsor money kept $330,000 Assumption: Finology revenue totals ?25 crore over eight years, a quarter reaches him (?6.25 crore) and he keeps half after tax and spending, ?3.125 crore.
Investment gains on that money $330,000 Assumption: a value investor doubled what he kept. Holdings aren’t disclosed, apart from an angel stake in Wint Wealth.
Book royalties $20,000 Assumption: 50,000 copies of Investonomy at an assumed ?399 cover price and a 10 percent royalty, about ?20 lakh. No sales figure is public.
Total $1.58 million Rounded to $1.6 million. Sponsor and ad money is treated as flowing through the company, so we don’t add it twice.

Why $12 million doesn’t fit

The highest public estimate we opened, $12 million, has no amounts behind it. At today’s rate that is about ?113.6 crore. A January 2026 review by Strike, a rival stock platform, says Finology Ventures reported ?4.69 crore in revenue in 2024. Our math: $12 million equals about 24 years of that revenue. Not profit. Revenue. And a startup directory shows no funding rounds, so no investor price is on record to justify it.

Strike is a competitor and a single source, so we treat ?4.69 crore with some care. The same review says Finology has about 20 lakh users and 11 to 50 staff. If those are right, by our calculation revenue is about ?23 per user a year, which suggests most of them pay nothing.

What 410 million views pay in India

vidIQ counts 409,886,411 lifetime views and about 5 million in the last 28 days. A Business Today feature on finfluencers, which appears to date from 2021, assumed a couple of dollars per 1,000 views in India. At $2, that is about $820,000 over the channel’s whole life and roughly $10,000 a month now, on our sums. vidIQ’s own model is lower still, near $2,300.

Sponsors pay better per video. Business Today quoted an unnamed broking executive saying top finance creators can charge ?5 lakh to ?10 lakh a video, with yearly contracts near ?1 crore. That was about the trade as a whole at the time, and not a figure for Kamra. SponsorRadar has detected about eight deals on his channel, with Ditto and Zerodha the brands, and estimates $6,500 to $13,000 each. The most recent was Ditto on September 27, 2026.

The range in our table comes from moving those guesses. A 15 percent share of revenue, a 50 percent investment gain and a 40 percent stake at 1 times revenue give about $0.5 million. A 40 percent share, a tripled portfolio and a 75 percent stake at 5 times give about $3.5 million.

Law degree first, stocks second

His publisher, Penguin, says he holds a law degree from Hidayatullah National Law University and studied at the National Institute of Securities Markets. A biography page says he began learning about stocks in his third year of law school, started the channel and blog in 2017 and co-founded Finology Ventures in 2018. vidIQ dates the channel itself to 2011, so the account is older than the finance content.

Investonomy came out through Penguin Random House India in 2022. Penguin calls it an Amazon bestseller without giving sales, and that is why the book row is so small.

What would move the figure

A priced funding round or sale of Finology would replace our largest assumption with a real number. So would newer filed accounts. His latest upload on November 1, 2026 promotes a Finology mutual fund academy, a sign the business is still selling education to the same audience.
