How much is Smriti Mandhana worth in 2026?

Our figure is $4.6 million, about ?43 crore at ?94.7 to the dollar on November 3, 2026. This one is a rough estimate: her cricket contracts are documented, but almost half of the gross comes from brand deals with no published fees, so the range runs from $3 million to $7 million.

Public estimates of ?32 crore to ?34 crore were circulating in 2025. They predate the World Cup reward and the higher brand rates that followed it, which is the main reason ours is higher.

How Smriti Mandhana built it

  • Became the first name retained. RCB retained her first, at ₹3.5 crore, ahead of the 2026 WPL auction.
  • Delivered when the price rose. She made 87 off 41 balls in the 2026 WPL final as RCB chased 204 to win.
  • Built a wide list of brands. Her manager named Hyundai, Gulf Oil, SBI and PNB MetLife among her partners.

How we got to $4.6 million

Source Our estimate What it rests on
WPL salary, four seasons $1.45 million (?13.7 crore) ?3.4 crore from the 2023 auction for three seasons, then ?3.5 crore on retention for 2026.
BCCI retainer $0.42 million (?4 crore) Grade A pays about ?50 lakh a year, according to reports. Assumption: eight seasons at that level.
International match fees $0.93 million (?8.8 crore) Fees rose in October 2022 from ?4 lakh to ?15 lakh for a Test and ?1 lakh to ?6 lakh for an ODI, and to ?3 lakh for a T20I. Assumption: half of her 123 ODIs and 182 T20Is at each rate, five of nine Tests at the new one.
World Cup and WPL prizes $0.53 million (?5 crore) The BCCI’s ?51 crore reward covers players, staff and selectors. Assumption: ?2.5 crore for her, ?2 crore from the ICC prize, whose team share we couldn’t confirm, and ?50 lakh from WPL title money of ?6 crore in 2026.
Overseas leagues $0.48 million (?4.5 crore) She has played in the Women’s Big Bash and The Hundred since 2016. No fees are confirmed. Assumption: ?50 lakh for each of nine paid seasons.
Endorsements $3.42 million (?32.4 crore) Her manager named Hyundai, Gulf Oil, SBI and PNB MetLife, and long-term partners include Rexona, Nike and Maggi. Assumption: seven brands at ?40 lakh for eight years, then ten at ?1 crore for the year since the World Cup.
Income tax minus $2.16 million (?20.5 crore) Assumption: 30 percent of the ?68.4 crore above.
Living costs minus $1.06 million (?10 crore) Assumption: ?1 crore a year for 10 years.
Returns on savings $0.58 million (?5.5 crore) Assumption: ?37.9 crore saved evenly over 10 years, growing 3 percent a year, reaches ?43.4 crore.
Total $4.6 million (?43.4 crore) Rows sum to $4.59 million, rounded.

One WPL season against seven years of contract

RCB paid ?3.4 crore for her in 2023, the top price of the first auction, and retained her at ?3.5 crore in November 2025 as the first name on its list. Set that beside a ?50 lakh retainer. By our calculation, ?3.5 crore divided by ?50 lakh is 7, so one league season equals seven contract years.

Equal match fees, which the BCCI announced in 2022, changed less than the phrase suggests. The retainers stayed apart: men’s Grade A paid ?5 crore in 2023, ten times her reported figure. Brand work closes more of the gap than the board does, at ?32.4 crore of her ?68.4 crore gross, or 47 percent on our assumptions.

What the World Cup did to the price

India won the 2025 World Cup on home soil, and the BCCI announced its ?51 crore reward on November 3, 2025. Five days later PTI quoted Tuhin Mishra of Baseline Ventures, the firm that manages her, expecting a rise of 25 to 55 percent for top players, with standout performers higher. Another agency said two of her teammates had moved to ?1 crore and ?1.5 crore or more a deal. No rate is published for her, so we used ?1 crore for her ten brands in the past year. Tata Motors also promised every player the first lot of its top Sierra model, which we left out because no value was given.

She then made 87 off 41 balls in the WPL final on February 5, 2026, as RCB chased 204 to win a second title. Four days later the 2025-26 BCCI list kept her in Grade A, one of four women at the top.

What would move the figure

That contract year ended on September 30, 2026, so the next list is the first thing to watch. The bigger swing is brand pricing. If her ten deals run at ?2 crore each rather than ?1 crore, that adds ?10 crore gross a year, or ?7 crore after 30 percent tax, about $740,000. Two more years at that rate would lift the total by roughly a third.
