How much is Tori Dunlap worth in 2026?
We estimate Tori Dunlap is worth about $7 million, within a range of $3 million to $12 million. This one is a rough estimate: little of the money is documented. Two years of company revenue and one set of book numbers are on the record. Her ownership, margins and revenue since 2022 are not.
Public estimates disagree mainly because they mix up company sales and personal wealth, and the last reported revenue figure is now four years old. A business that grosses $4 million does not hand its founder $4 million.
How Tori Dunlap built it
- Sold a business at 20. She grew a $300 vending machine loan to 15 machines, then sold the business for $1,700.
- Saved first, then quit. She saved $100,000 by 25 in 2019, then left her marketing job to run the company.
- Shared her book numbers openly. She told a podcast the book sold about 70,000 copies by the end of April 2023.

Revenue for 2021 and 2022 is reported. Everything else in this table is our assumption, and the third column shows the reasoning.
| Source | Our estimate | What it rests on |
|---|---|---|
| Her First $100K profits, 2021 to 2026 | $6.9 million | Our assumption: 25 percent of $27.7 million in revenue. That total is the reported $3.4 million for 2021 and $4.3 million for 2022, plus an assumed $5 million a year for 2023 to 2026. |
| Tax and living costs | Minus $3.5 million | Our assumption: 35 percent tax on $6.9 million is $2.4 million, then a quarter of the $4.5 million left goes on living, or $1.1 million. |
| The company itself | $3.1 million | Our assumption: 2.5 times $1.25 million of yearly profit (25 percent of $5 million), with her owning all of it. A low multiple, because the business is built around her. No sale or outside valuation is public. |
| Financial Feminist | $0.2 million | About 70,000 copies by April 2023, her own number. We assume $2.50 a copy and that sales have since doubled, or $350,000, then take off her agent’s 15 percent and 35 percent tax. Her advance is not public. |
| The original savings | $0.3 million | Documented: $100,000 saved by 2019. We assume it has about tripled in the market since. |
| Total | $7.0 million | $6.9 million less $3.5 million, plus $3.1 million, $0.2 million and $0.3 million. |
A bestseller worth about nine keynotes
Dunlap gave unusually open numbers on the Creator Science podcast in August 2023. Financial Feminist came out on December 27, 2022, sold 19,700 copies in launch week including pre-orders, and reached number four on the New York Times list. By the end of April 2023 it stood at about 70,000 copies: roughly 50,000 hardcovers and 20,000 in other formats. Her publicist cost about $7,000 a month, and she said she wouldn’t hire one again.
Now our calculation. At our assumed $2.50 a copy, 70,000 copies is $175,000. On the same podcast she used about $20,000 as an example of a keynote fee, and $175,000 divided by $20,000 is 8.75. So a national bestseller, on our royalty assumption, grossed about what nine speeches would. That is why the book is only $0.2 million of our ledger, and why its real job looks like marketing for everything else.
The $7 million that is probably not profit
A MoneyLion article from June 2026 says her blog earned her around $7 million before she was 30, and it offers no breakdown. Compare that with the reported revenue: $3.4 million in 2021, which Dunlap herself reported, and $4.3 million in 2022, reported by a 2023 newsletter profile. Add them and you get $7.7 million. Our read is that a figure of that size looks like company sales, before staff, costs and tax. The match between that claim and our headline is a coincidence: we get to ours from a quarter of the revenue, after tax and spending, plus a value for the business.
The same newsletter said she was aiming for $8 million in 2023, which would have been an 86 percent jump. We found nothing confirming she hit it, so we assume $5 million a year instead. The revenue line moved fast early on: Entrepreneur reported in June 2021 that she had already reached $1 million for the year, with a team of eight.
Audience, and what would move the figure
A July 2026 case study puts the Financial Feminist podcast past 8 million downloads and her following at about 4.6 million across TikTok and Instagram. It also says users put $18 million through the investing product she launched with Treasury. That is customers’ money and none of it belongs in her column. The newest dated item on her money is that June 2026 article, and we found no reported revenue figure after 2022.
A sale of the company or a published revenue number would change this page most. If revenue after 2022 averaged $3 million instead of $5 million, our math takes about $2.2 million off the headline. A second book would add little by comparison.
