How much is Touker Suleyman worth in 2026?

We estimate Suleyman at about $100 million, or roughly £77 million at $1.30 to the pound. This one is a rough estimate: the groups are private, and only some of their accounts are public. Hawes & Curtis and the Low Profile group have reported figures; Ghost and his personal property do not, so those rows are assumptions. Older public lists put him well above this, and they predate a sharp fall in the shirt maker’s profit.

How Touker Suleyman built it

  • Bought a distressed brand. Low Profile Group paid £1 for Hawes & Curtis in 2001 when its turnover was £600,000.
  • Grew sales nearly eighty-fold. Turnover rose from £600,000 in 2001 to £46.7 million in 2024, per the latest accounts.
  • Sold his house to clear debt. After a Bamber Stores collapse left him with bank debts he sold his home to repay them.

How we got to $100 million

Source Our estimate What it rests on
Hawes & Curtis $36 million 2024 accounts show £46.7 million of turnover and £3.7 million of pre-tax profit; we assume a value near 0.6 times sales, about £28 million
Ghost $26 million Assumption: about £20 million for a label he bought in 2008; we found no published accounts
Low Profile group (Lipstick Fashions, Turtex, property arm) $13 million The 2024 accounts show £8.8 million of turnover and a pre-tax profit of about £3,000; we assume about £10 million, mostly its property
Personal property, cash and investments $25 million Assumption, including the 46 percent Bikesoup stake bought for £100,000

Total: $36 million + $26 million + $13 million + $25 million = $100 million. Only the first and third rows lean on filed numbers, and every value we put on them is our assumption.

Sales up, profit halved

Our calculation from the reported accounts: Hawes & Curtis turnover rose from £43.8 million to £46.7 million, up 6.6 percent, while pre-tax profit went from £7.8 million in 2022 to £3.7 million in 2024, a fall of 53 percent. The margin is now about 8 percent. Costs rose 10.4 percent in the latest year, with the wage bill up from £8.4 million to £9.6 million. A company that earns £3.7 million is worth much less than one earning £7.8 million, which is why we value it at a modest multiple of sales and not at the 2014 glory.

From £1 to £46.7 million

Wikipedia says Low Profile Group bought Hawes & Curtis in 2001 for £1, when turnover was £600,000. Our calculation: £46.7 million divided by £0.6 million is about 78 times in 23 years. By 2014 turnover was already £30 million. He bought the label Ghost in 2008 after its Icelandic owner cut investment, which safeguarded 142 jobs. Earlier in his career, after a Bamber Stores collapse left him with bank debts, he sold his house to repay them.

The holding group is small

The Low Profile group, which also owns Lipstick Fashions and Turtex Industries, reported turnover of £8.8 million in 2024, down from £13.5 million, and a pre-tax profit of about £3,000 after a £2.6 million loss in 2023, according to City AM. It paid an interim dividend of £528,000, down from £1.1 million. That is not the profile of a group throwing off cash for its owner, and it is why we do not put a large figure on the property arm.

Leaving the Den

He joined Dragons’ Den in 2015. The Irish News reported that he announced on 6 June 2026 that he would step down after what he called ten extraordinary years, with his final episodes airing later this year. In November 2024 the fashion trade’s Drapers awards gave him a lifetime achievement award for 50 years in the industry. Pay for the show is not public.

Why estimates disagree

Many public figures trace back to a mid-2010s rich list entry above £200 million and have not been adjusted since, even though Hawes & Curtis profit has more than halved from its 2022 level.

What would move it

Filed accounts for Ghost, a sale of Ghost or Hawes & Curtis, or a recovery in the shirt maker’s margin. The latest documented events are the August 2025 accounts for Hawes & Curtis and his June 2026 announcement that he is leaving the show.
