11. Jenson Button (Estimated Net Worth: $105 million)
While the previous four people are long-time legends, this one has just recently joined the club. Even though he said that it is not entirely a retirement, I have a feeling that last season was indeed his last F1 season as a driver.
The British F1 driver was racing for McLaren. He was paid $13 million annually. That put him as the 6th highest-paid Formula 1 driver last season. And from 16 years of his F1 career, he is estimated to have $105 million of net worth.
He began his career at the age of eight and achieved early success. He raced in the British Formula Ford Championship and the British Formula Three Championship. Button first competed in F1 Grand Prix with Williams for the 2000 season. In 2009, he clinched the World Championship title when he drove for Brawn GP.
In the following year, he moved to McLaren. He finished fifth in the Championship. He became the World Championship’s runner-up one year after. Until today, he has won 15 races throughout his entire F1 career.
