4. AB InBev (Sales Revenue: $43.6 billion)
Anybody’s up for a refill?
Whatever beer you are drinking, it is probably one of AB InBev’s products. This company is not just the owner of world’s top three bestselling sodas; Foster’s, Budweiser, and Bud Light; but also dozens other beer and soft drinks brands. It is definitely the current biggest brewer in the world, especially after SABMiller’s acquisition.
One of the reasons why you would go for these beers instead of any others is because you see its logo everywhere during sports matches. The company is known for its sport sponsorship. It has been sitting in the front line of world-renowned sports such as NASCAR. In fact, it becomes the main sponsor of many motorsport events. Just google any racing event with “Budweiser” name on it. And besides that, it also sponsors big soccer leagues such as Major League Soccer and English Premier League.
And its bestselling beer brand is Bud Light. It is the biggest contributor to the company’s $43.6 billion annual sales revenue. It is probably the result of its marketing as NFL‘s main sponsor.
