The Vanity Fair 2015 Oscar Party Was a Real Fashion Runway

The Vanity Fair 2015 Oscar Party Was a Real Fashion Runway

My oh my, all the fashion weeks have collided into the Vanity Fair 2015 Oscar Party.

While the red carpet at the 87th Oscars hasn’t impressed us that much when it comes to fashion with just a few dresses worthy of the event walking by, what happens next compensated for every Oscar edition ever held before.

After Sunday’s 2015 Academy Awards, the magic happened at Vanity Fair’s 21st annual Oscar party in Beverly Hills.

The long waited at Hollywood exclusive event took place at a sophisticated space adjoining the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts and City Hill.

The luxurious location opens up with a marble corridor with green and white striped carpet that leads to a huge elegant room lit up by an 80 feet long custom LED chandelier weighting no less than 6,000 pounds.

The exclusive event hosted the most well known celebrities of the moment and even some of the golden days of Hollywood.

Hundreds of people walked the green and white carpet: front line actors and actresses – Julianne Moore, Benedict Cumberbatch, Michael Keaton, Jared Leto, Sofia Vergara, Jennifer Aniston; Vogue’s editor Anna Wintour; stylish music artist – Rita Ora, Miley Cyrus; Victoria’s Secret models – Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Miranda Kerr and the list goes on forever.

And although there were also new faces, everyone that attended the red carpet at the Oscars before went through an amazing transformation leading the Vanity Fair Oscar party to become one of the best fashion runway ever.

There were probably a dozen of designers that made their presence felt in the room with their gorgeous creations. We’ve got Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad Couture, Keira Knightley in Valentino, Rita Ora in Donna Karan Atelier, Behati Prinsloo in Calvin Klein Collection and these are just to name a few.

And what was even more special about this edition of the event? Hollywood icons from the golden days like Jane Fonda, Anjelica Huston and Robert Duvall blended with the young faces of show business.

But the best dressed celebrity of the evening was by far Rita Ora who showed up in a splendid gown from Donna Karan Atelier revealing some skin through luxurious sheer and leaving everybody speechless.

And although Rita was the best dressed star at the party, the greatest entrance of the evening was definitely made by Beyoncé and Jay Z.

The couple showed up in matching white outfits and looking impeccable. Jay Z was wearing a luxe dinner jacket, while Queen Bey showed off a figure-hugging dress with only one sparkling accessory – a glass of champagne.

And of course, the night had to be spiced up with a little humor from comedian Whitney Cummings who tried on Sia’s unconventional hat.

All in all, the night was a blast and an exclusive fashion show to be reminded over the years!

What do you think of the outfits at the Vanity Fair 2015 Oscar Party?

Do you agree that Rita was the best dressed of the night?
