7.Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris) – How I Met Your Mother
One of the most loved TV shows was the weird-ended How I Met Your Mother.
The American sitcom’s action takes places in the lovely Manhattan, and one of the most famous characters is that of Neil Patrick Harris, who plays Barney Stinson.
Being known as a women-lover, Barney wore nothing but suits, even having a very catching phrase:
Suit Up!
Reiko Kurumada, the show’s costume designer, said that she wanted to express and capture a little bit of New York’s timeless elegance through the cast’s clothes, and she surely managed to do that.
Barney’s suits were predominantly Dolce and Gabbana, mixing it up with some Prada or YSL. Stinson was so devoted to his lovely suits, that he delivered an Emmy-nominated, full musical number about his love for the suit in season five.
We didn’t really get the ending, but we surely got Barney’s suits!
