From the photos, you will remain with the impression that this place comes from a sci-fi movie, but you’ve never been so wrong. This place is real and it’s in Venezuela.
This is a giant flat-topped mountain located in the Pakaraima Mountains of the Guiana Highlands.
If you want to be on top of this awesome place, there is only one easy way up : through a natural staircase-like ramp. There are, of course, other ways of climbing it, but you really need to be an experienced rock climber.
Once you are on the top of the mountain, you may realize that it rains…a lot. I mean like, every single day.
And because of this unique thing, Mount Roraima is a place that offers some of the highest waterfalls in the world.
