The Stone Forest, China
Just picture yourself entering a usual forest with tall trees.
Now, replace those trees shaped rocks and sharp points and you will see how a stone forest looks like.
The Stone Forest is located in Lunan Yu Autonomous County, near near Shilin.
This is the one of the most remarkable calcareous relief and probably that is why, the Chinese Stone Forest was visited by 2.2 million tourists in 2005.
Besides the resemblance with tree, some stones look like pyramids, columns, mushrooms, towers and other awesome things.
