4-Money is Filthy
Dollar bills or basically any currency in your wallet are filthy. A recent few studies have shown that money in your wallet is even dirtier than your bathroom.
The older the bills, the more chances are to be contaminated with diseases, including Salmonella and E.Coli.
You know already that the bills are printed on a cotton blend, a material where they found the highest levels of bacteria.
The results of the study I was telling you about, showed that: “In the United States, the cleanest dollars hosted just 20 bugs, which the researchers refer to as colony forming units, or CFUs; the dirtiest greenbacks hosted 25,000, which translates to about 128 CFUs per square centimeter.”
It’s true that most of the bacteria are completely harmless, but there is always the possibility of a few very bad germs lurking on your money.
The best advice is to ALWAYS wash your hands after handling cash.
