Panajachel, commonly known as Pana, is located on the banks of Lake Atitlan and is one of the most hippy towns in the entire Central America.
Unfortunately, the place becomes more and more commercialized as it has a constantly growing expatriate population with every year that passes by, but there are many aspects of the town that compensates for it.
Take for example the breathtaking beauty of the views of the lake that famous British writer, Aldous Huxley used to tell us about.
And not to mention the fascinating indigenous culture!
