8.n/naka
One of the best restaurants in Los Angels is n/naka.
Niki Nakayama has managed to bring the beauty of formal kaiseki (a traditional Japanese multi-course dinner) to L.A, her restaurant n/naka being dedicated to follow the formality of the art form and presenting it in a respectful manner.
The restaurant no longer has its 9-course menu, instead it has the whole 13-course menu, at a price of around $165.
The menu includes beautifully presented delicious dishes, of grilled blue shrimp coated with yuzu cream, spaghettini with black abalone, pickled cod roe and truffles, to name just a few.
The quiet room, the amazingly artistic dishes and the top class service make n/naka one of the best restaurants in LA.
