7. Cuts through air like silk.
I know I have mentioned about cornering a lot, but we’ll get to that specifically just a little bit later. Let’s take you through the car’s aerodynamic first.
Formula 1 fans must have heard about the word “aerodynamic” a lot. Especially now that we are approaching the 2017 season where it’s all going to be about aerodynamic. That’s an extra homework for Red Bull Racing’s Adrian Newey besides his Aston Martin Hypercar AM-RB 001 project.
Aerodynamic has been a very important part of building a fast car, like a Formula 1 car. And NextEV NIO claims that NIO EP9’s aerodynamics make the car cuts through air like silk with its 170+ rounds of computational fluid dynamics.
With this, the car is able to handle the physical demands of G forces. It is all about how solid its structure is and how efficient the aero system to enable maximum speeds.
