Another beautiful waterfall with another legend. The legend says that a God planned to marry a woman named Naipi. Naipi fled in a canoe with Taroba, her mortal lover.
In his wrath, the God sliced the river, creating the waterfalls. And the first European who found the falls in 1541 was Spanish Alvar Nunez Cabeza de Vaca.
