Everybody heard of Victoria Falls. The famous waterfall in Zimbabwe.
Located in southern Africa, on the Zambezi River, Victoria Falls features a height of 108 meters (354 feet) and a width of 1.708 meters (5.604 feet).
Scottish missionary and explorer, David Livingstone, was the first European to view the waterfall in 1855.
And he named his ‘discovery’ Victoria, in honour of Queen Victoria.
By the end of the 1990s, around 300.000 people were visiting Victoria Falls annually, so it’s something worth seeing!
