This beautiful waterfall located in Venezuela it’s the world’s highest uninterrupted waterfall.
With a height of 979 meters and a plunge of 807 meters, Angel Falls drops over the edge of the Auyantepui mountain, Canaima National Park.
Considered one of the most important tourist attractions, Angel Falls is a bit hard to be reached.
In order to get to the waterfall, which is by the way located in an isolated jungle, a flight from Ciudad Bolivar of Puerto Ordaz is required.
Did you know that Angel Falls was an inspiration for the Disney animated film ‘Up’? Although in ‘Up’, the location was called Paradise Falls.
Also, the waterfall appeared in the Disney film ‘Dinosaur’ and in ‘Arachnophobia’.
