One of the wealthiest World Cup players from last year, Samuel Eto’o is the most decorated African player of all time, having won the African Player of the Year award for a record four times.
Eto’o plays as a striker for Sampdoria and formerly for the Cameroon national team. He scored a total of 100 goals in five seasons with Barcelona, and is also the record holder in number of appearances by an African player in La Liga.
2010 is another year he broke another record as the first player to win two European continental trebles as well as the second player in history to score two UEFA Champions League finals and the fourth player to have won the trophy two years in a row.
He announced his retirement from international football on 27 August 2014. And now he is enjoying life and driving a Bugatti Veyron.
