How much is Aman Gupta worth in 2026?
This one is a rough estimate: the company is private, and the range between public guesses is wide. Public estimates differ because the company is unlisted and its value is a moving target, so we build from the stake in boAt’s parent, Imagine Marketing.
Indian Retailer reports that the company is targeting a value of around Rs 13,000 crore, which at 95 rupees to the dollar is about $1.4 billion. We use a lower middle value of Rs 10,000 crore, our assumption, because the listing price is not set. In March 2026, Storyboard18 reported, he announced a new venture, OffBeat Studios, after moving to a non-executive board role at boAt. The IPO date was still unconfirmed at our last check, and a listing price is what would move the number most.
How Aman Gupta built it
- Kept a large stake. He holds about 24.76 percent of boAt's parent, per its updated draft prospectus.
- Sold only a small slice. His planned IPO sale of up to Rs 225 crore is about 9 percent of his stake by our math.
- Started a second company. He announced OffBeat Studios in March 2026 while stepping back at boAt.

| Source | Our estimate | What it rests on |
|---|---|---|
| boAt stake | about $175 million | Inc42 reports about 24.76 percent of Imagine Marketing in the updated draft prospectus. At our assumed company value of Rs 10,000 crore that is Rs 2,476 crore, or about $261 million at Rs 95 to the dollar (about the rate on 30 October 2026). We cut it by about a third for an unlisted minority stake that the fresh issue would dilute. |
| Shark Tank India and angel investments | about $15 million | He invests his own money in show deals and other startups. Per-deal amounts and current values are not public, so this is an allowance. |
| Cash and other assets | about $10 million | Salary, earlier share sales and dividends after tax. No document gives this figure. |
| Total | $200 million | Rough estimate. Range $100 million to $300 million. |
Our calculation: 24.76 percent of Rs 10,000 crore is Rs 2,476 crore. The Rs 225 crore he planned to sell in the IPO would turn about 9 percent of his stake into cash (225 divided by 2,476).
The profit that came late
boAt’s updated filing in October 2025, covered by Inc42, showed FY25 revenue of Rs 3,073.2 crore, down 1.4 percent from Rs 3,117.6 crore a year earlier, and a profit of Rs 61 crore after a loss of Rs 79.6 crore in FY24. At that value, investors would be paying about 164 times that year’s profit (10,000 divided by 61), which is why we discount his stake.
Selling a slice at the listing
The proposed IPO is up to Rs 1,500 crore: a Rs 500 crore fresh issue and a Rs 1,000 crore sale by shareholders. South Lake Investment, which holds about 39.25 percent, would sell up to Rs 500 crore. Gupta’s share of the sale is up to Rs 225 crore, and co-founder Sameer Mehta, who holds about 24.75 percent, would sell up to Rs 75 crore.
