How much is Aadit Palicha worth in 2026?

We estimate Aadit Palicha’s net worth at about $290 million. It is a rough estimate. The company’s October 2025 valuation is documented, but a year later nobody agrees on what the shares are worth, and his holding is our assumption of about 9 percent. Public figures differ because they multiply an undisclosed stake by a valuation from the $7 billion round, from the $4.5 billion foreign-investor talks, or from the $2.5 to $3 billion that institutions were reported to want in July 2026.

How Aadit Palicha built it

  • Started as a teenager. He and Kaivalya Vohra began KiranaKart at 17 in 2020, before founding Zepto.
  • Raised in steps. Zepto was valued at $225 million in October 2021 and $7 billion in October 2025.
  • Grew revenue fast. Operating revenue nearly doubled to 22,624 crore rupees in FY26.

How we got to $290 million

Source Our estimate What it rests on
Assumed 9% of Zepto $360 million We value Zepto at $4 billion, between the $2.5 to $3 billion institutions were reported to want and the $4.5 billion pre-money that foreign investors were reported to be weighing in July 2026. A June 2026 analysis of the IPO filing lists a trust run by his father Kavit Palicha at 9.03% and says he and Kaivalya Vohra hold about 1% directly, so we treat 9% as his. That link is our assumption.
Minus discount for a private, loss-making holding Minus $72 million An assumed 20% of the stake, because the shares are not yet tradable and the company lost about 5,095 crore rupees (about $540 million) in FY26.
Salary and cash $2 million An assumed allowance. No pay figure is public.
Total About $290 million $360 – $72 + $2 million.

One percentage point of ownership moves our figure by about $32 million ($4 billion times 1 percent, less the 20 percent discount).

What the fall from $7 billion costs him

Wikipedia’s Zepto entry lists a $60 million round in October 2021 at a $225 million valuation and the October 2025 round of $450 million at $7 billion. Here is our calculation. On an assumed 9%, the stake was worth about $20 million at the 2021 valuation and $630 million at $7 billion. At $3 billion it is $270 million, and at $4.5 billion $405 million, before our 20 percent discount. The same company can make its founder $360 million poorer on paper in one summer without a share being sold.

Revenue and losses

Inc42 reported in July 2026 that Zepto’s operating revenue in FY26 nearly doubled to 22,624 crore rupees, about $2.4 billion, while its net loss widened to 5,095 crore rupees, about $540 million, from 4,697 crore in FY25. Rupee figures are converted at 94.9 to the dollar, the rate on October 30, 2026. Revenue growth is why investors keep paying; the loss is why they now argue about the price.

2026: the IPO is still a negotiation

The company’s draft prospectus was filed in June 2026. On July 28 the Free Press Journal reported that Zepto had discussed a valuation of about $3 billion, less than half its price nine months earlier, with the structure still being finalised. Inc42 added that it could defer the listing if the gap with institutions was not bridged, and that the draft prospectus stayed valid until August 21. We found no confirmed listing date. A listing would give him a daily price and the chance to sell; until then his wealth stays on paper.

What would move the figure

The final IPO price, a new private round, or a filing that states his own holding. At a $3 billion valuation our estimate would be about $220 million, and at $7 billion about $510 million, on the same 9% and discount.
