How much is Kaivalya Vohra Worth? Kaivalya Vohra Net Worth in 2026
Kaivalya Vohra’s net worth is roughly $270 million as of November 2026. Only about a tenth of that sits in his own name: he holds 0.89 percent of Zepto directly, while a Singapore-based family trust with his father as trustee holds 7.48 percent. This is a rough estimate, because Zepto is private, its price has been falling and we are assuming the trust’s stake counts as his.

How much is Kaivalya Vohra worth in 2026?
Our figure is about $270 million. It takes his direct stake and the family trust, values Zepto at $4 billion and then takes off 20 percent because nobody can sell these shares on a stock exchange. It is a rough estimate. The stakes are documented, while the valuation and the discount are our judgment calls.
How Kaivalya Vohra built it
- Shut the first idea fast. KiranaKart launched in June 2020 and closed within 10 months, and Zepto followed in April 2021.
- Learned to code early. He started programming at about 11, and now runs technology and product at Zepto.
- Kept the shares. He was not selling any shares in the offer described in the June 2026 IPO filing.

| Source | Our estimate | What it rests on |
|---|---|---|
| 8.37 percent of Zepto | $335 million | Inc42’s reading of the June 2026 IPO filing gives him 0.89 percent and The Vohra Trust 7.48 percent. We value Zepto at $4 billion, below the $4.5 billion reported for a pre-IPO round on July 31, 2026 and above the $3.6 billion implied by unlisted trades on August 3. Those are the latest prices we could open. |
| Discount for private shares | Minus $67 million | Assumption: 20 percent of the stake. There is no listing yet, and the company lost 5,095 crore rupees in FY26. |
| Pay | $1 million | Assumption: four years at his FY26 pay of 2.6 crore rupees, or about $275,000 a year, ignoring tax and spending because the sum is too small to matter. |
| Total | $270 million | $335 million minus $67 million plus $1 million is $269 million, rounded. |
Rupee amounts use 94.68 to the dollar, the rate on November 3, 2026.
Why we credit the trust to him
Family holdings are not automatically one person’s. We count this one because The Vohra Trust, a Singapore-based family trust, is named as a promoter alongside him, it acts through his father Jaideep Vohra as trustee, and it holds more than eight times what he has in his own name. Who may benefit from the trust is not in the pages we opened, so that link remains our assumption. Without it the arithmetic is short: 0.89 percent of $4 billion is $35.6 million, or $28.5 million after our discount.
By our calculation, 7.48 divided by 8.37 means 89 percent of the stake we count depends on that one assumption. It is the biggest reason our range is so wide, bigger than any argument about what Zepto is worth.
Nine months, $251 million
Zepto raised $450 million at $7 billion in October 2025. On 8.37 percent, the paper value was $586 million. At our $4 billion it is $335 million, so the fall from that round cost the family about $251 million before a share changed hands (our calculation: 8.37 percent of the $3 billion drop). Wholesale quotes for unlisted shares tell the same story: nearly 68 rupees at the December 2025 peak, about 27 by August 2026, against the 37.74 rupees Series H investors paid on average.
His FY26 pay of $275,000 is 0.1 percent of the headline. For this founder, salary is what pays for lunch and the valuation does everything else.
What the buyers are looking at
Inc42 reported in July 2026 that FY26 operating revenue nearly doubled to 22,624 crore rupees, about $2.4 billion, and the net loss widened to 5,095 crore rupees, about $538 million. The loss per order is shrinking: adjusted EBITDA went from a loss of 136 rupees per order to 79. Revenue is why anyone will pay $4 billion, and the cash burn is why they will not pay $7 billion.
From KiranaKart to Zepto
Outlook Business describes two childhood friends who left Stanford. Vohra started programming at about 11. In June 2020 he and Aadit Palicha launched KiranaKart, a local delivery app in Mumbai, and shut it within 10 months. Zepto followed in April 2021, and by August 2023 it had raised $200 million at $1.4 billion. He was 23 in August 2026. Today he is a whole-time director and President of Technology and Product.
Why other estimates disagree, and what would move this one
Public estimates usually differ on two things: whether they use the $7 billion round or a newer price, and how much of the family’s holding they give him. Older ones predate the 2026 price drop altogether.
The IPO is the next test. It was put on hold in July 2026 with no new timeline, and Vohra was not selling in the offer in the June filing. A listing price would replace our $4 billion and remove most of the discount. At the $4.5 billion pre-money figure reported in July, 8.37 percent is about $377 million with no discount. The $5.1 billion post-money figure doesn’t apply to that percentage, since new shares would dilute it.
