How much is Amelia Dimoldenberg worth in 2026?

Dimz Inc Ltd filed its 2025 accounts at Companies House in June 2026, showing net assets of £1,173,703. The register lists her as holding 75 percent or more of the shares, so this is close to a direct look at her business.

Those accounts leave out the profit and loss page, so part of this is detective work. We estimate $2.3 million, and a fair range is $2 million to $5 million. This is a rough estimate: the company is documented, but what she took out and kept is not. We convert at £1 to $1.34, the X-Rates rate on November 3, 2026.

How Amelia Dimoldenberg built it

  • Owned the company behind the show. She holds 75 percent or more of Dimz Inc, which reported £1.17 million of net assets for 2025.
  • Started before anyone was paying. Chicken Shop Date began as a youth magazine column in 2014, when she was 20.
  • Ended the hit to build bigger. She closed the show after 12 years, with a BBC series and an Orion Pictures film in development.

How we got to $2.3 million

Source Our estimate What it rests on
Dimz Inc, net assets $1.57 million Documented: £1,173,703 at December 31, 2025, from the filed balance sheet.
Tax if that money came out minus $0.62 million Our assumption: the 39.35 percent top dividend rate on the $1.57 million above.
Directors’ loan balance $0.56 million Documented for the company: £414,391 owed to directors at December 2025. We assume it is hers, as she owns the company, though it has a second director.
Money paid out in 2024 and 2025 $0.44 million Our calculation below: about £1.75 million left reserves. After 39.35 percent tax that is £1.06 million. Take off the £411,610 rise in the directors’ loan, counted in the row above, and £652,000 is left. We assume she spent half, £326,000.
Earnings in 2026 so far $0.35 million Our assumption: ten months at the 2025 profit rate, £1.16 million. After 25 percent company tax and 39.35 percent dividend tax that is £526,000, half of it spent, so £263,000.
Total $2.3 million Rows add up to the headline. No home or other investment is public, so none is counted.

The tax bill that gives the profit away

Small UK companies can hide their profit. They can’t hide the tax they owe on it. Dimz Inc owed £347,245 in corporation tax at the end of 2025. At the 25 percent main rate, that points to about £1.39 million of taxable profit, or $1.9 million. After tax that leaves £1,041,735.

Reserves, though, rose by just £34,985 that year. By our calculation about £1,006,750 therefore went out of the door, most likely as dividends. Run the same sum on the ten months to December 2024 (£206,014 of tax, reserves down £129,090) and you get another £747,132. Together that is roughly £1.75 million in two years, against £1.17 million left inside. This assumes each year-end tax balance belongs to that year alone, which is our inference, not a filed number. Not all of it reached her bank: directors’ loan accounts rose from £2,781 in February 2024 to £414,391 in December 2025, which looks like money credited but not yet drawn, so the ledger counts that part once.

The growth is fast by any standard. Corporation tax owed in the year to February 2021 was £28,269. Trade debtors alone jumped from £110,976 to £752,945 during 2025, which suggests a lot of invoiced work had not yet been paid when the year closed.

A billion views is not a billion of anything else

Her channel had 1.07 billion views as of June 27, 2026. Variety said in September that the series reached 1 billion views in its 10th year and that the channel has more than 4.4 million subscribers. At 115 episodes over 12 years, it was never a volume business. Her money comes from what the show made possible: brand work with Olay, Bumble, Levi’s and M&S, and three years as the Academy’s Oscars red carpet correspondent. Fame on this scale, in a format this cheap to run, tends to pay through sponsors and not through ad revenue, which is our reading of how a five-person company clears seven figures.

Public estimates scatter, and the filing is the likely reason: anyone working from audience size alone is guessing at ad rates, and anyone quoting company turnover would be counting money that belongs to crews, guests and the tax office.

Ending the show for something bigger

She announced the end of Chicken Shop Date on September 3, 2026, after 12 years. The final season was scheduled for YouTube and on Netflix at the same moment on October 2, with Netflix also licensing past episodes. No terms were disclosed.

The bet, as we read it, is that a producer’s credit pays better than a host’s fee. In February 2026 Variety reported a romantic comedy in development at Orion Pictures, which she will star in, and a scripted BBC series is also in the works. Dimz, Inc. also makes Passenger Princess and runs a youth academy started in August 2025.

Two filings would change this page. The Netflix money should show up in the accounts for 2026, due in 2027. And if the Orion film gets made, a star and producer fee could outrun everything in the ledger above.
